Community Education & Outreach
Our hope is be a light in the darkness of human trafficking. Our belief is that our voice, our prayer, our movement can bring about change and we want to equip our community to join us in impacting our world. We are continually developing partnerships here locally to create an environment of awareness and education.
~speaking with local churches, youth groups, and community leadership teams to give them the knowledge to join this battle for freedom
~coming alongside IJM to participate in a community viewing of Nefarious, a documentary focused on the global sex trade
~joining SVJI-JMU, an on campus organization who is focused on awareness of human trafficking to bring Passion: A Night of Worship to Harrisonburg
~creating a marketplace where every item tells a story of freedom, shares the hope of restoration, and breaths the belief of change
The Zion Project is an international non-profit which exists to offer life changing counseling and education for vulnerable girls and women caught in the global sex trade and communities affected by war. They currently operate in the war-torn region of northern Uganda with plans to expand to other countries. Where our story began… After volunteering with The Zion Project to help market Imani, the handcrafted, paper jewelry that fuels their work; we felt a calling to create a marketplace where every purchase seeks justice. In the last year we have sold thousands of dollars worth of Imani helping to see the women and children of The Zion Project free
Fields of Hope is a project of On Eagles Wings Ministries and has a mission to restore victims of domestic sex trafficking. This is accomplished through restorative shelter, an outreach program, a prevention program, and Fields of Hope – a job skills/empowerment program. Every Fields of Hope purchase has a story, with all products being made by rescued girls. We were thrilled to find this North Carolina based ministry to get behind. We have continued to market their candles, soaps, and other body products to contribute to their wonderful work! Their mission is simply stated: Abolition and Restoration! They combat child trafficking & exploitation with the unexpected and restore survivors with excellence. Our latest partnership has the mission of Love146 which is fulfilled in the very fibers of each item. We will carry a variety of the “sustainable goods” from clutches to aprons and the proceeds support Love146’s programs and operations. Free the Girls partners with safe houses and after-care facilities, to provide an opportunity for women rescued from sex trafficking to earn a living selling second-hand clothing…bras! The women in their program receive their starting inventory as a donation, and are then able to buy additional inventory from Free The Girls for below wholesale value to help maintain their competitive edge in the marketplace. We collected and donated hundreds of bras to Free the Girls in a First Annual “Create a Dress” Drive in June! Once our shoppe is established we will become a permanent drop-off location for them!
International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to secure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators and to ensure that public justice systems – police, courts and laws – effectively protect the poor. Our hope for New Creation is to be a collaboration of missions and ministries with the common goal of seeing human trafficking ended. By becoming Freedom Partners with IJM we are helping to secure that their vital work continues!

With our eyes on redemption we are pursuing the purchase of a local porn shop. This would serve as a resource center, coffee bar, and New Creation Shoppe. Find out more about our “Redemption Story” on our blog or click on the “Porn Shop Takeover” tab!
